its sad how little i've been updating this blog as of lately! but i am going to make an effort to start updating more often. adding lots of the two things i love best! photography and music! not only will i be showcasing other photographers and music artist but i want to start incorporating my own work more! with that being said imma post something good soon! most likely will be a photographer! peace! how are you?

what the buck?! chris buck!

this semester has been my worst semester so far in college the only one i haven't liked. but the one good thing about this semester are the guest speakers my portfolio developement teacher has come to speak with the class. Today Chris Buck was going to be speaking at the school and our professor had him come in to our class before hand. I must say this was the highlight of my semester. He is a pretty awkward guy and i imagine he might not have been the most social of kids growing up.. While i may be completely wrong i say this in good meaning. see i'm not the most social person in the world and i'm a little awkward and i have been having serious doubts about being a photographer. it seems like school is made to scare you away but when people like Chris Buck come and speak it kinda eliminates that fear and makes me feel like "okay, i can do this." and besides the fact that Chris is a pretty awesome man, hilarious and can speak well about his work his work speaks well about itself! and its just as humorous as he is.. in a kinda awkward sinister way. i like! i love!

beauty photography!

beauty is beyond the make up... so far beyond that its behind the camera. not to long ago i was pretty depressed and the pictures from this photographer made me even more so.. but not because they were bad but because they were so beautiful i felt like i would never be able to make things like this happen.. i've since done a lot of thinking and watched a lot of ugly betty and now i look at it a little different. i have to work hard and take a few steps out of my comfort zone if i want to make something something this beautiful.. Micaela Rossato not only makes beautiful images she makes inspirations :)

well i said i would post them up if i liked them! and luckily i do! :) even though we needed four prints for class. i think i will only post three because those are the ones i love most :)and i hate to be one of those people who complain about technology but i do think the colors look a little different uploaded to blogger than how i edited them.. that being said i hope you enjoy

Randall Slavin!!

well its about time i post up another photographer!!! yay his name is Randall Slavin and I actually chose him to do a presentation on in class.. part of the presentation was to contact the photographer.. So i emailed him! and he actually got back to me!!! considering he is a pretty busy photographer who shoots celebrities i was quite surprised but really happy and the way he answerd my questions were so honest, i love it.. and his work is pretty kick ass so he is a must to check out! click the picture! peace ;)

so umm yes yes i am a photographer and therefore find photography to be very stimulating and creative... i would like to expand my knowlege of the photographers that are out now so i decided that at least once a week i need to post a blog about a photographer i admire whether it be just a link to their site or some background info...
